AA Breakdown Cover
LeasePlan Assist, our comprehensive breakdown and recovery service is basically what it says on the tin! Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year via the LeasePlan DriverLine (a dedicated customer services & booking line), so you can feel safe with the knowledge that help is just a call away.
We appoint our business partners based on service quality and only accept the very best for our customers. You may already be familiar with our breakdown and recovery partner, The AA.
LeasePlan Assist is included for all LeasePlan Contract Hire agreements (excluding leasing arrangements made through company car schemes and third parties e.g. brokers). So you will no longer carry the burden of sourcing a separate breakdown and recovery supplier.

What’s included?
- Roadside
Assistance will be provided at the roadside if your driver’s vehicle breaks down or is immobilised. LeasePlan Assist provides a fast and dependable service to get your driver mobile as quickly as possible - Recovery
When attending a roadside call‐out if the vehicle is unable to be repaired at that time, LeasePlan Assist will take the vehicle to the repairing garage, and then ensure your driver is taken to their desired location - At home
Breakdowns will be attended either at your home or your driver’s office address. If the vehicle is unable to be repaired at that time, it will be taken to a LeasePlan approved garage
- Onward Travel
A free of charge relief vehicle will be provided, if necessary, for a 24‐hour period to keep your driver mobile. The relief vehicle needs to be requested at the time of breakdown by your driver and will be arranged by LeasePlan Assist - Free European Cover
In the event of a breakdown, accident or theft in Europe, all LeasePlan vehicles benefit from free of charge European Breakdown Cover. Please also be aware that before your driver takes their LeasePlan vehicle abroad they must obtain the appropriate foreign travel documentation at least 14 days beforehand. This service is available through the LeasePlan DriverLine service and will incur an administration charge
